Actively seeking adventure.

It’s so easy to get lost in the monotony of changing diapers, nap schedules, potty training, constantly picking up toys, and dealing with demanding schedules. Life is too short to get bogged down by those things–you’ll miss out on the beauty of each day.

With an almost-active 10-month old, we are constantly seeking new, fun, memory-making adventures. Whether it be the zoo, a fun park, a river, the beach, a museum, new city, fishing or anything out of our normal day routine.

One of those happened this past holiday weekend.

My parents just bought little calves. Three sweet babies…six days old.

You guys, they are so cute! And they would suck your hands off if you let them!

We took baby Z (and his BFF Eden) to see his new little buddies and he had so much fun (even when they sucked his cheeks and ears!) He was loving on those sweet things and they were cracking him up.

And the hay bale…he was loving that, too. He’s totally an outdoorsy, country kiddo. I thoroughly enjoy watching him love new things.

I haven’t been around calves in a few years, so I forgot how much fun they are. Such great memories made on this day, I’ve looked at the pictures at least five times!

And the little man got to make this memory with none other than his precious new Freshly Picked moccasins. He loved touching them, and the calves loved sniffing and laying on them. I think he knows how cute they are on his feet, and how soft they are. And they made him look like a little country boy all the more! They are seriously my must-have favorite shoe for our almost-walking boy, and they sure make things a lot more simple when I just have to slip them on and not worry about them coming untied and falling off! Go check out all the cute patterns and styles for boys and girls HERE.

I’m also hosting a Freshly Picked giveaway over on Instagram, you won’t want to miss it!

Can’t wait to make so many more memories with this kid this summer. (Especially wearing those moccs!)
